Neglected trees, hedges, or shrubs can ruin an otherwise great looking property. Shrub trimming is not exactly rocket science, but learning the best times to cut branches, the optimal amount of thinning to perform, and other facets of hedge pruning is a necessity if you want your plants to stay healthy. Those who jump into shrub trimming without understanding the basics often end up doing more harm than good, though that harm is often reversible over time by using better hedge pruning techniques. Not only does Timber Landscaping have the right tools and experience needed to trim tree branches and shrubs safely, they will also be able to identify and prevent problems like disease, insect infestation, and fungus.

Wildfires are a perennial problem in the Northwest. With miles and miles of wilderness, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Oregon, and Washington get more than their fair share of major forest fires. Lightning ignites most of these fires, but not all. Poorly-attended campfires, train and machinery sparks, and tossed cigarette butts cause no end of problems during the Northwest's dry summer season. Once started, fires are subject to the whims of wind and weather. Is your property located next to a national forest, or state land? Is it congested with dead and overgrown underbrush? This can be a recipe for disaster. Dead and overgrown underbrush is referred to as "ladder" fuel and can turn a small grass fire into a raging wildfire in minutes with the right fuel to propel it. We offer complete site clearing and removal services that can safely and stategically prepare your building site for renovation or new construction. We also perform selective thinning to allow sunlight to enter, which leads to healthier tree and plant growth, open vistas and a more attractive meadow or park like appearance.
